ABOUT THE RIDE

Ride an e-bike from the suburbs into the hidden farmland of Onaga, Nishihara.

We meet at Tedako-Uranishi Station on the Yui Rail monorail. Just past the residential streets around the station, the scenery suddenly opens up into sugarcane fields and quiet farm roads. Onaga in Nishihara Town is a place where traditional rural landscapes still survive right beside modern neighborhoods.

Along the way you will see the village kami-asagi (a traditional ritual space), the memorial stone at the site of the former Nishihara Village Office shelter, and a huge banyan tree with long hanging aerial roots. It is a chance to experience everyday Okinawa, far from the usual tourist spots, with green hills and village houses rising beyond the fields.

Hills are easy with electric-assist bikes. This is a private tour for 2 to 4 guests, guided in Japanese or conversational English.
