Rivers, oceans, waterfalls, forests, and even Hokkaido. This summer's rides, and why Okinawa never really has an off-season.
Can you see Mt. Yotei in the morning light?
One day in Hokkaido, there it was, right in front of me, a cloud resting on its peak. Turns out it's not Mt. Fuji at all, it's Mt. Yotei.
The air was so clear, I just had to breathe it in.
This summer, biking took me to so many places.
Rivers, oceans, waterfalls, forests. I even made it all the way from Okinawa to Hokkaido.
In Hokkaido, I also worked as a support rider for a school trip.
Even on rainy days, the ride goes on. Rain ponchos on, everyone gathered in front of an old building.
In the evening, sitting on a wooden bench, laughing. Little moments like that stay with you.
Now, let's talk about Okinawa.
Riding along the coast in Chatan with friends, feeling the sea breeze, thumbs up for the camera.
Thank you, bikes.
Okinawa never really has an off-season. Electric-assist bikes, a guide by your side, small groups. Anyone can start. Next time someone rides this coastline, it might just be you.
